A while back I got a free subscription to Games Master…
This is the best free gift so far. Stickers of many Video Game characters created in the 8 bit Mega Man style.
Kudos to them on there 250th issue. Used to buy Games Master from time to time as a kid (and watch the shows).
Magazines have totally been upstaged by the Internet, but there still decent time sinks, and offer some nostalgia, plus they visually put in front of me coverage on games I perhaps hadn’t looked much into or heard about, so it’s nice to leave my content up to someone else from time to time, as opposed online where I’m in charge of my own exposure.
Assassin
Call me insano, but I’ve still not played an Assassin’s Creed game (I’ll get round to it soon I’m sure ^_^).
So this year so far I’m mostly looking forward to “Hitman Absolution” over “Assassin’s Creed 3”.
However my hype for Hitman Absolution is slightly capped. A gameplay demo trailer I saw last year made the game look a lot more linear than previous Hitman games, and to me that would dent me love for the game regardless of how well they choreograph the set pieces and such into levels.
2012 and the Nintendo 64 is still very capable to be the life and soul of some hilarious/ awesome 4 player times with friends.
I’ve always wanted to try the buffet at the Virtua Inn.
Can’t hate on those prices either.
